...I really can. While completing my doctorate in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Texas at Austin, I taught all levels of Spanish grammar. After completion of the doctorate, I taught Latin American literature in both Portuguese and Spanish.

While my background is in French, I spent a year teaching English at the Lycée Montgrand (high school) in Marseille, France. Before that, I had 2-3 years' experience tutoring English to non-native and native speakers.
