...In my experience, students who are immersed in their new language from the beginning do better than those who master grammatical concepts before moving to conversation. Plus, it raises a student's confidence in her/his learning abilities when they notice how fun and, yes, easy it is to master basic sentences by the end of the first lesson. Phew!
