An avowed lifelong learner, I have over ten years' experience teaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and content should truly be understood rather than simply memorized. ...In order to do this, I've had to explain presentation skills that make a good public speaker. I use a backwards buildup technique for things that need to be memorized. I teach students to exude confidence through practiced rehearsal in eye contact, strong voice, hand and arm placement, and attire.
