...I also have done private ESL tutoring in Paris while studying French at La Sorbonne in 1982. I lived for two years in Italy, working as a journalist and translator for a US news magazine, and supplementing my income as an ESL teacher. For beginners, I use a modified full-immersion method, building a grammar base first, following an Italian-, rather than American-, designed course.
