I have completed Teaching Japanese certificate program with a Master's degree in Education from NYU. I am a native Japanese speaker who understands English and Japanese language structure well, as well as both American and Japanese culture. Since I studied mainly comparative sociology between Japan and other Asian countries, I also studied at the University in the Philippines Diliman as a research fellow.

...I graduated with a degree in Japanese Studies and even spent a semester studying abroad in Tokyo my junior year. After graduation, I spent an additional 7 weeks at Middlebury College studying Portuguese through its intensive Summer Language School Program, leaving the program with an advanced proficiency in the language. I also speak Spanish at home as it was my first language.
