...I have been around special needs children and adults my whole life. I have two cousins that have special needs; one who is mentally handicapped and one that is both mentally and physically handicapped. I also have a stepson who has a mild mental disability and ADHD.

...I was really lucky to find a fabulous computer teacher in the 90's. He taught me how to knock down and rebuild a computer and all the fancy stuff that software could do. I was then on PC's and stuck there for years.

...I motivate the student to succeed and teach good study skills and test-taking skills. For standardized tests, I use prep books, such as Princeton Review. Students do best when they are encouraged and receive positive feedback.
