...From a young age, my parents fostered in me a love of reading; I was surrounded by books and adults who loved them. I enjoyed science fiction and fantasy growing up, and in high school I spent summers volunteering at my local libraries, including managing summer reading programs for elementary-aged students. In the future I'd like to pursue a degree in library science.
