...I really enjoyed that experience because it made me realize how much I love teaching. After that experience, I enrolled back in college to earn my second degree, in Teacher Education with minor in Spanish. At the moment, I am completing my student teaching at Georgia State University.

...A teacher must understand where the student stands. From there we can build together the subject matter piece by piece by falling back on what experience, or previous studies, has taught the student. In this way mathematics, or physics, become intuitive instead of a work of repetition.

...I grew up in Venezuela until I came to U.S. to go to college. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Master's degree in Spanish Applied Linguistics. I also obtained my bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature from GSU.

...I have many methods of making diagrams and organizing information so that it is easy to remember. Along with information about composers and styles divided by time periods, I also use music recordings that exemplify those characteristics. In order to teach my students systematically, I use the materials from which I learned in college.

I am a non-native speaker; however, I have full professional proficiency in the language.
