Julia I. ...In my opinion, it's an opportunity to give a student one-on-one attention that he or she may not be receiving in the regular classroom environment. It is difficult for one teacher to spend individual time with each student on a daily basis. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to work with students on topics they don't understand, in greater detail.
