Jana E. ...This might happen when you get a question wrong and you look at the correct answer and think to yourself, "Oh yeah, I get it" and move on. However, this is not effective studying. Or, it might happen when a tutor asks "Do you understand why this is right and this other answer is wrong?" and the student simply says "yes." This type of review does not truly check students' understanding.
