...For the SAT it is best if you know the meanings of lots of words. If you don't know the meaning of the word you must learn how to use the sentences surrounding that word to figure out its meaning. With reading you just have to learn how to read between the lines and really understand what they are looking for.

...I absolutely love seeing a student reach his or her educational goals and I enjoy the process of helping students get there. I have worked as a tutor and a classroom teacher. I realize students' frustration when they don't "get it" at school and I empathize with them.
