After spending many years in the classroom, I've come to the conclusion that students often learn best in one-on-one and small group environments. Not everyone learns in the same way, through the same modalities, or takes the same amount of time to understand or master a skill or concept.

I found that I can relate the coaching and teaching skills that I developed while obtaining my certification to help students understand math concepts. I am a language fanatic. Grammar, usage, spelling...this is my passion (which can also mean my pet peeve)!I can proofread in a glance, and edit with a quick perusal. As for math, I am a whiz, as are all my brothers...from the aeronautical engineer to the computer programmer.
