Thus, making him feel comfortable and gaining his trust, facilitate communication and enable me to pinpoint his strong points as well as his weak ones.

...For the past four years, I have taught intermediate ESL classes in Chinatown to Chinese adults. My ESL classes have about 8 adult students in them. I also work as volunteer mentor for an organization called Upwardly Global - a nonprofit that brings highly qualified immigrants (mostly refugees and asylees) and highly progressive employers together.
