...I have worked with many special education students as well as general education students. I have written the Algebra I curriculum for my school, and it has gone over extremely well. I am certified to teach 8-12 math.

...I never saw them as "disabled people", but as people. Everyone's got something to face in life, after all. I attended IEP meetings and Special Olympics events before I had any kids of my own, and since having my own, I have continued as a sign language interpreter, job coach and tutor, to encourage people with special needs to excel.

...I was also an interpreter/aide at the Irving, Tx Regional Day School for the Deaf from 1993-1995. My BS degree is in Speech and Theatre and many of my classes are in public speaking. I have completed the Toastmasters class when I was in high school.

I am a Deaf Education major at Texas Woman's University. I am also a certified interpreter and I have a Deaf parent as well. I have been immersed in deaf culture my whole life and I have been using sign language my whole life and would love to help you acquire better signing skills.

I have three years experience of substitute teaching at a charter school, and a few years of tutoring for sign language back in my college years. I still love to do that even after I graduate...
