I have taught ESL students from just about every corner of the world over the past 20 years. In addition, I have devised a placement test for our district (Jefferson Union High School District) in Daly City, CA.

...I taught Religion to the 6th and 7th grade students in my classroom during the 2010-2012 school year. We had a lot of fun deconstructing the meanings and trying to understand the differences and the similarities between the various world religion, although our primary focus was Catholicism. We studied the links between Judaism and Catholicism.

The lessons focused on improving their conversational fluency, listening, reading and writing skills. I've taught English for specific purposes in subjects such as childcare, real estate and career skills.

I went to interpreting and translating school in Madrid and graduated for the languages of Spanish, Italian and French. My father is French and my mother Italian, so that made it really exciting to reconnect with my roots. I also have a degree in Podiatry from the University of Barcelona.
