...When I tutor, I always see at what level the child/client is performing. I speak with the parents to get to know more about the child’s/client's academic level. If the child/client needs help in reading, I go over letter recognition, phonics, sound letter recognition, and other related topics.

...Having a learning disability myself and having a son with reading comprehension problem, I understand how both the student and parent feels when the goal you want to achieve is so close, yet you can’t touch it. I have reached every goal I have set for myself and have helped others achieve their goals, as well. I work well with students, who are in athletics.
