...My biggest asset as an instructor was my natural connection with my students since I was a ESL learner once myself. Teaching the ESL population is more than just instruction delivery, it's a socio-cultural experience where integration is the real target. While learners are introduced to the core notions of the English language, they also learn how to successfully adjust to a new environment.
