...With more than ten years of successful tutoring experience, I tutor students of all ages to speak and read Chinese. My curriculum and teaching approach are non-traditional and designed specifically to benefit non-Chinese English speakers. I help students build foundational skills in speaking and reading.

...I was born in China and have lived in China for almost 20 years. I have tutored many people in Chinese before and I really enjoy my interactions with my students. Many people think Chinese is a very difficult language and is almost impossible to master as a native speaker, especially the written Chinese.

...Although my major was architecture, I had completed college-level Calculus III and am competent and comfortable tutoring elementary through high school maths. I might not be the most experienced tutor but I have a lot of experience with kids. In high school, I was an after-school tutor for McKinley Elementary School and provided one-on-one tutoring to a 3rd grade student for two years.

...After working more than ten years on various jobs, I realized that I missed my role as a Mandarin instructor. I believe I am an excellent Mandarin instructor and am very proud of my students. They come from well known universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, Harvard, UCSF, Cambridge, and Duke as well as great companies such as IBM, Google, and IDEO.

I can help you to master Mandarin or Putonghua by guiding you how to read, write, speak, listen, pronounce (pinyin) and complete Chinese assignments. I am familiar with both traditional and simplified Chinese.
