...I worked as a Deaf/Blind Sign Language Interpreter for several years as well as help lead the deaf ministry at my church in Arkansas. Once I moved back to Seattle, I've done some small interpreting jobs but would love to help tutor someone. I have some connections with the Deaf community but would love to get more active and practice my skills more.

...I was a student teacher of English and journalism at Wenatchee High School. I was a resource teacher at Tieton Middle School. I am now a preschool teacher at Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool where I teach children the alphabet and its phonetic sounds.

I have been taking classes in deaf studies. I have taken Sign Language 1-6, deaf culture and deaf studies. I will go over vocabulary, numbers, and signing instead of voicing.

...I also completed the Summer Intensive Program at Rocky Mountain School of Photography.I learned sign language in high school and continued at that time interpreting for deaf students in other classes. I was also very active in our high school Theater for the Deaf, performing often. My major at Augustana College was Deaf Education.

...Also, I'm a bit crazy over algebra. I hated pre-algebra; the question "Why do I have to memorize all these stupid formulas!?" was never answered. But then I opened the book of Algebra I, and lo and behold, the dots connected.
