I also found time to volunteer with the Bio Outreach Program on campus. As part of the Bio Outreach program I worked closely with a Chicago-area high school teacher who taught Advanced Biology.

...While studying, I started to teach at a small private language school and did extensive translation work for a company that creates tutoring CDs for all kinds of programs. I basically re-did the tutorials for Adobe products and Microsoft office, translating and re-recording them in German. English has become my second mother tongue and many even say they do not detect an accent.

I am a Venezuelan writer who lives in Chicago since 2008. I have been teaching Spanish since I arrived to the country.
