...As a college professor I have adapted my courses to assist students with ADD/ADHD and developed specific curriculum for instruction based not on a flat standard, but on overall comprehension of my subjects. Many students of Architecture and Interior Design (art) have a degree of dyslexia, actually a 50/50 in architecture. I am left handed and I have dyslexia.

...The thing I strive for when tutoring is to approach the student as an equal who I am simply helping with a subject I happen to understand better. As a result, students tend to feel comfortable with me which puts them in a better mental state to learn. My favorite part of tutoring is the opportunity to help and to really make a difference in a student's learning.
