I’m from Burma, and this is definitely a minority Tibeto-Burman language spoken in Burma and neighbouring parts of north-west Thailand, but it’s NOT Burmese. More specifically, this is a language belonging to the Karennic sub-branch.
My best guess would be “Pwo Karen”
My guess would be Dai.
.
I was going to guess “South Asian”, i.e. around Thailand and Vietnam. So, what Bennie said, only less specific.
My guess is “Mon Khmer” languages of Southeast Asia.
I sounds Southeast Asian to me as well.
Bennie is right – the answer is Pwo Karen, a Tibeto-Burman language spoken mainly in Burma and Thailand.
The recording comes from the Global Recordings Network.
