Runic puzzle

This photo was sent in by a visitor to Omniglot who would like to know if anyone can identify the alphabet and decipher the inscription. He thinks is looks like Younger Futhork. [Addendum] Here’s another image showing the inscriptions on both sides of the bar: Click here to see a larger version.

Message in a bottle

This puzzle was sent in by a visitor to Omniglot who found this piece of paper in a bottle off the coast of Oregon in 1963. It has been suggested that the writing system might be Yi. Can you make any sense of it? NB: I don’t know which way up it should be.

This inscription, sent in by a visitor to Omniglot, appears on silver pendant which is apparently Tuareg. I think it might be South Arabian. Can you identify the script and/or decipher it?

Can you make any sense of it? It looks like a cursive form of Cyrillic and reads something like “Сйо мень одь Госйос Дир Кторке Тр?імуко Сиус” […]
