Here’s a recording of a mystery language.
Any ideas which language it is and where it’s spoken?

Sounded Hispanic (did you hear the music). Part of the middle sounded like it had some French influence. Perhaps French Guiana?

I would say it has some turkic influence.

I agree with Podolsky. It is Armenian.

I think I heard some retroflex fricatives in there … so maybe Slavic, but maybe something a little more exotic.
Also a lot of alveolar taps/flaps, not that it helps…
My guess is Kurdish.

Here’s a clue - this language has its own alphabet.

Well then, I don’t think this is right, but . . . Greek?

Georgian?

I agree with Mike: it must be Georgian spoken almost exclusively in Georgia (not the US state).

I’m inclined to say Georgian, as well. (Both Georgian and Armenian have unique alphabets, rather than using a non-native script.)

Oh, and… I’ve seen dubbed cartoons in Georgian, and this sounds exactly like one. Yet another YouTube catch, I see. :)

The language is Armenian, which is spoken in Armenia and quite a few other countries.
The recording comes from an Armenian version of The Family Guy on YouTube.

I’d like to add, it’s Armenian slang spoken in Yerevan (the capital city), predominantly - by the working class people.
