Languages spoken in Auckland include English, Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Niuean, Hindi, Mandarin and Cantonese. Samoan is in fact the second most commonly spoken language there after English, according to <a href="http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/auckland/introduction/people/ethnicity.asp">this site</a>.
