...But then I opened the book of Algebra I, and lo and behold, the dots connected. I LOVE helping others connect the dots for themselves. I won't tell you the answer, but I will ask questions to guide students to the correct answer.

...I received high points from my students for my teaching abilities, Sign Language knowledge and ability to make learning fun. I have real life experience, currently working with a deaf woman as a interpreter. I believe in feeling comfortable and relaxed is the best way to learn a new subject.

...I worked as a Deaf/Blind Sign Language Interpreter for several years as well as help lead the deaf ministry at my church in Arkansas. Once I moved back to Seattle, I've done some small interpreting jobs but would love to help tutor someone. I have some connections with the Deaf community but would love to get more active and practice my skills more.
