...I also played Varsity Volleyball all four years of high school and was selected as the MVP of the team my freshman year. I took the AFOQT this past summer and scored ~90th percentile in all areas. I am very comfortable with all of the sub-tests within the AFOQT, especially the four most important - Verbal Analogies, Arithmetic Reasoning, Math Knowledge, Verbal Analogies, and Word Knowledge.
