...Fun Fact: I was a national debate quarter-finalist in 2012 and in 2011 I placed 6th at an international debate competition in China.In high school and in college I played chess competitively and for fun. I have played since childhood and I have an excellent grasp of rules and strategy. I taught Sunday School in Salem, Oregon, at the Methodist Church.

...The students then utilize sight singing to help in training their ears musically. In addition to this, we also have melodic and harmonic dictation, which is the practice of writing down using notes on a staff of what the student has heard. Most students have a hard time with this, it isn't easy.
