...My style of teaching and tutoring is focused on making sure a student understands a topic from all angles. For example, memorizing that you use an apostrophe in words like "can't" and "won't" is not enough. Students that understand WHY we use an apostrophe in those situations are the ones who will properly use apostrophes in their writing.
