My name is Yuanyuan (pronounced as UN UN by English speakers), I'm from Sichuan, China and a graduate of China West Normal University where I majored in English Education. I have taught English to junior high and primary school students. I have also taught Mandarin Chinese language and cultural lessons to Peace Corps volunteers and foreigners in China.

...I am a Chinese American and grew up speaking Mandarin Chinese with my parents. Chinese was technically my first language, the language I first spoke before I started school. I took weekend Chinese school each week throughout elementary school and middle school and still actively practice my Chinese with my family, relatives and friends.

...I prepared and attended TOEFL myself and had a good score. I know what the IBT TOEFL looks like and keep my self updated about any policy change of this test. All four parts in the iBT TOEFL are hard for a foreign test-taker, and Listening, which is the hardest section, goes through three parts of the test.
