I am a native Chinese speaker, who was born and raised in Taipei Taiwan. However, living in various countries such as Taiwan, Egypt, Norway and United States made me realized how important it is to be able to speak a second language. Once there is a common language, the distances between two people or two cultures are diminished.

...I did a Masters in German, English and French, part of which was a year in Berlin where I taught English at a high school. I visit Germany every two years to keep in touch with friends. I have a German friend here, so I keep up my German.
