I am currently a student at ASU, studying to become a Speech Pathologist. My coursework includes learning how to help children with speech and language disorders. I am currently interning at a local high school for students with Autism.

...And finally, when I work with a student, I also assess whether the student has some underlying foundational skills that are weak. If so, these can be addressed simultaneously with the math concepts and facts. Strengthening these weak skills will help the student catch on more quickly and truly remediate.

I use a question/answer style to identify problem areas or where the student is at in understanding the material. I am good at helping develop learning techniques centered to the learners strengths and challenges with the course at hand.
