Mini motor bikes
The mini bikes, that are also known as track style super bikes or pocket bikes, may act as style bikes off road. These cannot be used for daily as they are meant for racing. These bikes usually have a 2 stroke engine but some newly made bikes have 4 stroke engines also. The engines of these mini bikes vary in the size and they have an engine of about 39cc or 49cc. Bikes that are a bit bigger than the mini bikes are called midi motos. These bikes have larger engines with an engine of 49cc but some bikes with an engine power of 110cc, 4 speed engines, 4 strokes with dual disk brakes in the front and also having a clutch which a faint hearted person cannot ride, are being produced.
Types of mini bikes
One can buy any type of mini bike as there are many types of these bikes. One just has to think that for what purpose he needs a mini bike and then can choose one according to his comfort. The type of mini bike that is most common is the small bikes for the road. These bikes are also known as mini motos or pocket bikes, as mentioned above. These bikes look as if they are meant to be raced on the road. One can make this out by the look of the tiers. These bikes usually do not have any suspension which means that one cannot ride this bike on a rough surface as it needs flat and smooth surface.
There is another type of mini bike that is known as mini dirt bike that is a version smaller than the dirt bikes that are larger. These bikes have larger wheels and tiers which are more suited and they also have a bolder look as compared to the look of a pocket bike. These bikes can be used to go around a field also and it is not necessary for these bikes to have a smooth surface.
A mini bike chopper is a good choice for a person with a cool image. This is another type of mini bike and these have large choppers on them that give them a cool look. One can see these bikes, along with the bigger ones, at the bike shows and these bikes, although being smaller in size, do not look awkward.
Now, one more type of mini bike, have a characteristic that is not possessed by any other bike in its class. The mini quad bikes have four wheels for people who feel it uncomfortable to take a ride on the two wheeler bike. The engines of these bikes are same as that of the other mini bikes. These are quads actually which is a type of motorbike and it is great if one prefers to ride a quad over those motorbikes.
But one must be careful about one thing before buying a mini bike that it is not allowed for any person to ride a mini bike on the road. So if one has his own ground or private track then he must go forward for buying a mini bike.
