It is common for every one to expect better things in life for a cheaper price. How ever, it is hard to find such good things for a low price easily, & in case we do luckily we must be careful about the quality. Transportation is a very basic necessity of todays world and plays a very important role in our lives. No doubt why people take so much care about their vehicles and spend a lot of money towards its maintenance every month. But it would be a matter of defying their trust if they do not get the value for their money while they buy spares of auto components during maintenance.
Basically, many factors have been favourable and positive in the global market that has led to the establishment of a huge market of auto components and spares, thus creating a wide opportunity for new players. As the boom in the auto market is indeed a big picture on a global scale, the number of vehicles sold both commercial and passenger are increasing every year considerably. This translates that the scope for maintenance & vehicle servicing business too is touching all new heights. But as the customers prefer to keep their expenses low towards their vehicle maintenance, the scope for cheap auto component market is increasing rapidly. More over, with a potential of largely untapped market, the auto component manufacturers intend to make large profits thus strategise their plans and launch auto parts at a cheaper rate than those sold by the original manufacturer of the vehicle.
The introduction of cheaper auto components in the markets of a country bears both negative and positive effects. However, the ideas differ from both the customers point of view and the manufacturers point sense of perception. One as a customer is really appreciates and welcomes the introduction of cheap auto parts as he gets to make large savings on his vehicle maintenance. More over, he is happy to get a product for a cheaper price as he gets better value for his hard earned money. But if the product so procured at a cheap price lacks good quality, he is surely defied of trust. It is a statistical fact that the price and quality of any product is inversely variable . In such a case, it is evident that any product available at a low price is of poor quality . Similarly, cheap auto components that are purchased often lack quality and thus exhibit poor performance when used in the vehicle thus adversely increasing the maintenance costs of the vehicle in the near future.
The components that lack quality need to be replaced very often and are highly unreliable. At times, they may cease to work when the vehicle depends on it to the maximum extent. This eventually causes a vehicle break down, which is absolutely not acceptable.This translates the perception that though the auto parts may be cheap initially it may prove to be a costly affair to the owner of the vehicle as it would demand more maintenance. More over, any decrease in the efficiency of the vehicle adversely decreases the fuel efficiency and thus increases the consumption of fuel . Though buying of cheap components appears profitable in the beginning it reveals its true colour of maximum expenditure after being put to use. But this doesnt mean that all cheaply priced auto parts are of inferior quality. In fact there are many manufacturers around the globe who make affordable yet reliable goods, with Japan & Germany taking the lead in such markets.
