Vintage cars
Vintage car is a car which came into being after the First World War in 1919 . It lasted through the great depression period of 1929, after which the automobile industry came to a stand still, giving space for the growth of ammunitions industry . It is also termed as an antique car or a classic car .
After the First World War in 1919, the factories shifted their attention from manufacturing ammunitions, to other goods . The automotive industry was in rise only after the First World War, during the antique car era . It was the period where in workers and machines needed work. This gave encouragement to leading inventors. Vintage cars were first invented in the backyards and barns, without considering the need for repair or guarantee of the car. Henry Ford had started the industrial revolution with huge manufacturing system. At this time, risk taking business individuals like Daimler, Hudson, Ford, Studebreaker, Desoto, Chrysler, Olds and Dodge had become popular in automobile business . The military plants took swift decisions and refitted there machineries for the production of automobiles. The government fell short of laws for the safety of the employees and the environment . Hence the industrial mishaps became common and reimbursement became the right of the worker.
The vintage car era is considered as the moment of evolution in the automotive industry . The production of the car was started in 1919, but it was for very short period . The production came to a stand still in the 1930\'s. However, by that time the vintage cars had become famous all over the world . The automobile production of this era cannot be compared with any other time. During this period, many changes came through. The nations, which were industrially strong, built the road system, which were spread all over the nation. This decreased the challenges of unpaved roads. During this phase, cars started becoming more comfortable, suitable and luxurious.

The society started adjusting according to cars. Motels, suburban shopping centers, drive in restaurants were launched. To remember the bygone years and to feel the excitement of owning a classic car ; the vintage car was again introduced in the automobile market . This has given an opportunity for all the car dealers to retail in the classic cars .
