Airtours cruises
Airtours has changed its name to My Travel plc., and is now one of the largest leisure services across Europe and North America. Their fleet of ships takes happy passengers and holiday-makers to over 43 ports world-wide. The original Airtours Company started with humble beginnings in 1972 in Lancashire, England. By 1991, they added airlines to their holiday packages in their own planes! By 1994, cruises were also offered as part of air-cruising experience to travelers. The cruise liner, MS Seawing, was the first ship to be commissioned by the company, to provide affordable air-sea vacation packages. Since then, the company has not looked back, acquiring more ships and even changing their current name to My Travel plc.
What is on offer?
Airtours are popular, simply because their packages are affordable, and family oriented. Good Child Discounts are available, enabling accompanying children to be part a of the vacation. Many options for added luxury is also available, for example, if you need a bigger cabin with a view, you could have it at an extra cost. Similar options are available for travel in the air. You could pay a small amount and get your seat changed to one that has better leg room.
Many discounts are also available on liquor consumption, and in the eateries aboard the ships. The atmosphere on the ship is that of camaraderie and fun with passengers all joining in the fun and games. The MS Seawing experience includes a Clipper Entertainment Lounge, the El Dorado Restaurant, the Riviera bar/café, the Piano bar, Beauty Salon, Card Room, Photo Gallery, Gym, Children's Club, Medical Room, Casino and the most popular Crows Nest Disco. The cabins are relatively smaller when compared to the other luxury liners, but Airtours can boast of many satisfied customers who keep coming back to join in their other packages. The cabins are divided into five grades: Inside, Standard outside, Superior outside, Promenade and Deluxe, and can be chosen and booked in advance to suit your budget.
The ship Carousal is a smaller ship than her big sister, the Seawing. The Carousal boasts of 523 cabins of which 337 have ocean views and are always booked in advance.
Safety is a top priority with the Company and all the ships are provided with life-boats and other safety measures are taken seriously in the air as well as the sea.

The various destinations of cruises include special packages to the Bahamas, Alaska, the Greek Isles, among other exotic ports in North America, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
